Ranthambore Hospitality · Travel notes · October 2026
Resorts around Ranthambore differ in location, room types and what they include. Asking the same few questions of each one makes the comparison much easier, and helps you avoid surprises at check-in.
Distance affects how early you must leave for a safari and how long you spend travelling on arrival and departure days.
Some resorts have a safari desk that can guide you. Ask what help is on offer, and remember that permits are issued only by the Forest Department.
Capacity varies a lot. Some resorts offer family rooms for up to six guests, while others have compact rooms meant for two. Check the number of beds as well as the room size.
Ask about meals, taxes, transfers and any extra charges, and make sure the quote lists them clearly.
Terms differ by property and by date, and peak dates are often stricter. Get them in writing before you pay.
Pay only to the account or link named in a written payment request, and never share OTPs, PINs or card passwords with anyone.
Check ID requirements, check-in and check-out times, and policies on outside food and pets so nothing catches you off guard.
